Starting Lessons
We’d love to meet you to talk about starting lessons!
If you’re interested in learning more about starting violin, cello, or piano lessons at Anderson Music Studio, you can schedule a free call with our director. You’ll have an opportunity to discuss our programs and ask questions.
After your call, you may schedule an in-person consultation. This will give you a chance to see our studio, meet our director, and get a mini lesson. If you’re really interested in getting started, you can skip the call and schedule a consultation.
Your consultation is an opportunity to ensure our studio is a good fit for you – feel free to come prepared with any curiosities you have!
Once you decide to enroll, your first month of lessons is spent doing orientation. We understand that the Suzuki method is special and most people aren’t familiar with it, so these orientation meetings are meant to set you up for success. Think of it like ground school for pilots – we’ll cover what you need to know before we get you into the action.
Orientation is crucial – families that don’t do orientation usually aren’t successful. True to our nature, we wouldn’t make you do it if we didn’t think it was valuable.
During your first month, you’ll also have an opportunity to schedule a few observations to see our teachers in action. This observation will be of a student the same age as yours, just a little bit ahead, and with your future teacher. You’ll also observe one of our group classes.
Once your orientation is complete, you’ll officially begin private lessons with your teacher and begin your Suzuki journey!
